Abingdon CampusThis is one of the essential courses to help enable installers move towards MCS accreditation and access Government Grants for their customers.
You will learn to specify, design and install Air Source Heat Pumps in domestic properties.
This course includes an additional fourth day providing in-depth practical industry training from one of our partners.
• Heat Pumps in context
• How a Heat Pump works – principles and components
• Insulation, Heat Losses, and the effect of heating system design
• Domestic hot water, buffer tanks and solar coils
• Health and Safety
• Heat Pump Installation and Sizing
• Maintenance and fault finding
• Candidates will also need Water Regulations if not covered within one of the above qualifications
